Dalton Area CVB Relocates Downtown

The Dalton Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (DACVB) officially relocated Thursday, July 10th from Tunnel Hill to Peacock Alley, 311 S. Hamilton Street, Suite 3, Dalton, GA.

This location will be more conducive for our main market, our visitors and makes conducting business more centralized and logistically easier, said Margaret Thigpen, Executive Director, DACVB.

The DACVB offices will also house a satellite visitor’s information center which provides brochures and information on the area in hopes to entice our visitors to stay and discover the Dalton area. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm

The Dalton Hospitality Association was established to promote and protect the mutual interests and welfare of lodging and restaurant owners and operators and businesses that support the hospitality interests in the Dalton-Whitfield area.

The Association provides for the exchange of ideas and information relating to the hospitality industry. These include employment, education and training, taxation, governmental relations, community awareness and service and other issues of public interest.

Majority of the hotels in Dalton and all of the ones that we associate with make sure that their are no pest problems in the area.
